About Zak Jennings
My name is Zak Jennings, and my karting journey began just over two years ago with arrive-and-drive sessions at Bayford Meadows in Kent. What started as weekend fun quickly turned into a passion for racing, and before long, I moved into owner-karting with a Honda 160 Cadet, where my love for the sport really took off.
In late 2023, I joined Project One Racing, where I learnt the foundations of competitive karting and developed the key skills that helped shape me as a driver.
In 2024, I raced with LMM Motorsport, stepping up to the Rotax Mini Inter class to compete in the Ultimate Karting Championship (UKC). It was my first full national season, and I finished 14th overall, gaining valuable experience racing against some of the best young drivers in the country.
The following year, in 2025, I became a factory driver for X-Kart, representing the team in the Junior Kart Championship (JKC). It was a breakthrough season filled with multiple podiums, and I spent much of the year running vice champion in the standings. After a major accident at Rowrah, I lost crucial points and finished the season 5th overall, still one of my proudest achievements so far.
Another major highlight came when I represented the UK at the TB Kart World Finals in Paris, going wheel-to-wheel with top drivers from around the world and finishing inside the top ten.
I was also invited to the Tillotson 2025 World Finals in Valencia, but due to limited funding, we had to defer that opportunity. With continued development and the right support, I hope to compete there in 2026, representing the UK on the World Championship stage.
For 2026, I plan to race in both the Junior Kart Championship and SuperOne, continuing my development at the national level while working hard to secure the sponsorship needed to make it all possible.
Karting is a true family effort for us, and what I love most is how it brings us together every weekend. Our motto has always been simple: “Race for fun, and if we win, that’s a bonus.”
Outside of my own racing, we run Zenico Racing, an initiative that helps new drivers and families get started in karting through advice, videos, and behind-the-scenes coverage. It’s our way of giving back to the sport that’s given us so much.
Looking ahead, my goal is to keep progressing as a driver, compete at the highest level of UK karting, and one day make the move into car racing
